Your mobility guide as a Digital Nomad in Korea

We explain the basics you actually need for daily life – no overload, just what matters for your stay:

  • How to use the metro and buses without speaking Korean
  • Which travel card to get (T-money, Cashbee) and where to load it
  • Why Google Maps doesn’t work well – and which apps to use instead
  • How to navigate with Naver Map / Kakao Map for cafés & workspaces
  • How to book KTX and other long-distance trains online
  • What to expect when travelling with large luggage

Typical routes we help you plan

We can design simple, realistic connections around your actual itinerary:

  • Seoul ⇄ Busan – KTX from Seoul Station or Suseo; ~2.5 hours, easy to combine with work days.
  • Seoul ⇄ Jeju – flight options, airport transfers and how to reach your stay on Jeju Island.
  • Airport ⇄ first neighborhood – Incheon or Gimpo to areas like Hongdae, Gangnam or Seongsu.
  • Within Seoul – e.g. Gangnam ⇄ Seongsu or Hongdae ⇄ Itaewon using metro with minimal transfers.
  • Busan mobility – moving between Haeundae, Gwangalli and work spots near the coast.

We also connect this with your accommodation and city guides – so your routes match where you actually live and work.

What we consider before we suggest routes

  • Balance between travel time and comfort
  • Number of transfers and how complex they are
  • Safety and simplicity, especially if you arrive late at night
  • Accessibility (elevators, escalators, walking distance with luggage)
  • Cost level compared with your total stay budget
  • How well the routes fit with your daily work rhythm

Tell us about your travel & mobility plans

Share your cities, dates, work rhythm and how confident you feel using public transport. We’ll match this with realistic options for your stay.

You can keep it simple (“Seoul + Busan for 3 weeks, one suitcase”) or give us a more detailed itinerary – both work.
